This is the video that made me want to get a 12-string. I dare you to watch it and not want one too!
Background
I always thought, and still do, that any decent guitar collection should include a 12-string. There’s just nothing else that gives you that rich, harmonic sound. So when a good friend of mine moved to Australia and couldn’t take this guitar with him, I pounced on the opportunity to make it my own. It’s not a fantastic guitar but, hey, ’tis got 12 strings
I’ve loved playing it, especially when I first got it, but over time it started getting used less and less. When, like me, you amassed something like 10 guitars it becomes a lot of effort to regularly restring all of them, keep them in tune etc. In my case, it was the 12 string that suffered, resting in the corner gathering dust. I think there must be someone else out there who can put this to better use. Could that be you?
Condition
Overall, the guitar is in a decent condition. I’d give it a 8 out of 10. It’s used so it does have a scratch here and there, especially on the pickguard where you can see some marks but really there’s nothing major wrong with it anywhere. The difference between this and a brand new guitar is slim. See the pics to judge for yourself!
Shipping and Payment
Here’s a general blurp about shipping etc. I picked up some sturdy guitar-shaped cardboard boxes from a local music store and I’m happy to ship the guitar via courier if you pay via PayPal. Ideally though you should come have a look at the guitar in W6, Hammersmith, London.
I’m looking for around £129 for this baby. I think that’s a fair price (less than what I paid for it!) and wouldn’t be wanting to go much lower than this. Nonetheless, if you’re interested and have an offer, why not…Get in touch!
